After you’ve purchased your entry fee, please send us your [up to] 5-poem submission as a Word .docx (not a PDF) via email and include “POET HUNT 28” in the subject line. Reference your order number in the first line of the email. Order numbers are six digits long.

The first page of your Word .docx should include your name, order number (again), mailing address (for your complimentary issue only), and phone number. We will only use this information to contact you in light of a problem with your submission, to announce the winners of the contest, and to send your complimentary issue. On this same page, please list the titles of the poems you are sending.

On the following pages, please include your poems, beginning each one on a new page.

Poems submitted may not be previously published and we ask that you please try to send all withdrawals by Monday, July 29, 2023 if at all possible. Entries will be considered up until June 15, 2023 at 11:59:59 PM. Full rules and guidelines can be found here.
